Uber Partnership Program
ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ has partnered with Uber to provide ride vouchers to currently enrolled students experiencing urgent transportation challenges. This initiative helps students maintain access to education and essential services during temporary disruptions to their personal transportation.
Eligible Parties
Students must be:
- Currently enrolled at ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ.
- Experiencing immediate and temporary transportation issues, such as:
- Vehicle accident, breakdown, tow, or repossession.
- Unreliable or unavailable ride options.
Note: Eligibility is determined by trained ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ personnel at designated distribution points. This is not a request-based or open-access program.
Vouchers
- Voucher Cap: Each voucher is valued up to $50.
- Usage: Rides must be between home and school (or vice versa).
- Delivery Method: Ride is scheduled by College personnel.
- Restrictions: V
- Vouchers are valid only for standard Uber rides (no premium, multi-person, or specialty vehicles).
- Riders are responsible for any fare amount exceeding the $50 voucher, including tips.
- Taxes are included in the voucher value.

Distribution Points
Vouchers are distributed by trained staff at:
- Saints Care Center – S-112
Students may call, email, or visit during business hours to be set up with a voucher. Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Available for students needing assistance after Saints Care Center closes.
After Hours: Monday- Thursday, 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Supports students, especially those at educational centers, during evening hours.
Business Hours: Monday- Friday, 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM
352-395-5519 - Students at SF Educational Centers are encouraged to contact the Saints Care Center during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) for voucher setup. Reach out to Student Life or the SF Police Department after hours for assistance.
**Note: Rides from centers have a 15-mile radius. Be ready to provide your address.**
Documentation and Validation
At distribution points, trained College officials will have access to an Uber distribution log via Teams. If the College official determines voucher issuance is warranted, the official will confirm the student is currently enrolled, offer the voucher, and list the receiver’s information on the log with issuer name and date.
Student Provides
- Full Name
- SF ID Number
- Summary of transportation issue
- Expected timeline for transportation restoration
- Supporting documentation (if applicable), such as:
- Accident report
- Insurance claim
- Repair invoice
Miscellaneous
Any concerns by a driver or user of Uber related to liability, behavior, and damage lie between the driver and user as listed in the Uber app under Terms of Service. All components of the Uber partnership are subject to contractual, legal, and Uber and ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ approval.
