Summer Bridge Program
Overview

The SF Achieve Summer Bridge Program helps incoming 青青草视频 students prepare themselves to get a great start in college. The program encourages academic excellence and fosters a sense of belonging among participating students.
High school students in Alachua and Bradford counties are encouraged to apply to the SF Achieve Summer Bridge鈥檚 summer enrichment activities, which includes an intensive, week-long preparatory program and up to two college courses during the Summer B term.
Designed to create a seamless transition from high school to college, the Summer Bridge program helps students learn how to navigate college with confidence. The program is intended to prepare students, motivate them and launch their successful college experience.
The Summer Bridge offers:
- College-readiness activities
- Career and major exploration
- Social and learning skills workshops
- Introductions to campus resources
- Staff and peer mentorship
Program Eligibility:
- Affiliated with the SF Achieve program through a public high school in Alachua or Bradford County
- Demonstrate financial need through submission of 2026-27 FAFSA
- Plan to enroll at SF for at least 12 credit hours in Fall 2026 and 12 credit hours in Spring 2027
Program Benefits:
- Scholarship to pay up to six credit hours in the Summer, and 12 credit hours in both the Fall and Spring terms

- Assistance in becoming eligible for the SF Achieve scholarship

- Academic resources for college success
- Referrals to SF student success resources
Cost: Program is free
Application deadline: March 13, 2026

Program dates:
- Summer Bridge Program: June 15-18, 2026
- Summer B term: June 24 - August 4, 2026
- Fall 2026 term beginning August 17, 2026
- Spring 2027 term beginning in January 2027
