SF introduces new tagline, branding

At the heart of every great institution is a story that captures its essence, its values and the promise it makes to the people it serves. ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµâ€™s story is told through the power of our community, the achievements of our students and the lasting difference we make in lives we touch.
Over the course of the Spring Semester, more than 200 faculty, staff, students and administrators from across the district, explored those things that make Santa Fe College special and important.
Together, they helped shape ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµâ€™s Brand Promise Statement and, ultimately, the way we will tell our story.

Brand Promise Statement
At the core of every great brand, is the brand promise statement: a one-of-a-kind promise about who we are and how we want to be known. It is a pledge upon which we build our brand and stake our reputation.

More to Discover, our new tagline, is an invitation and promise. It says that Santa Fe College is a place of unlimited possibilities and personal growth, where every student’s journey is unique, filled with new opportunities, and supported by a college committed to their success.
More to Discover will effectively express that students don’t simply attend college at Santa Fe, they uncover their potential; they find their careers; they make life-long connections; they get ready for what’s next. In other words, they find an incredible college dedicated to their success.
We will build on themes of more and discovery as students discover their potential, learn they have more to become, and more to achieve.
Brand Pillars
The SF brand will rest on four pillars that are fully supported by the programs, services and people of ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ.
The pillars outline how the college will present itself in advertising, publications, presentations and in how we communicate generally about ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ.
The pillars, and the programs, services and opportunities, that support them are important because they represent the positive perceptions SF students and the community have about ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ.

Logo, fonts, colors, and photography
The ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ logo did not change.
Our primary font is Gantari, a clean and modern style with outstanding legibility for print and digital uses.
While we will stay grounded in SF’s Campus Blue and Saints Blue colors, an expanded color palette will support more vibrant storytelling.
The college will build on our existing photography, using realistic scenes that are rich in color and that also demonstrate the idea of discovery.
What’s Next
Marketing and Communications will transition print items as they need updating and will apply branding to advertising and publications and other college materials moving forward.
New brand guidelines are being developed, and design templates will be updated.
A brand rollout does take time, but many changes will happen quickly.
Continue to use any current materials as the transition takes place.
