Course Learning Objectives
- Identify common skills and qualities of effective leaders
- Explain the importance of delegation, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication as they relate to leadership
- Define the principles of communication, group dynamics and conflict resolution
- Differentiate between a variety of leadership styles and analyze one's own leadership style
- Use collaboration, teamwork, and group presentation skills
- Determine goals, develop plans, make decisions, solve problems and articulate ideas with individuals and groups
- Practice assessment and self-assessment skills
