Monday, October 20, 2025 - AWS outage affects College systems
The College has multiple systems, including Canvas, EAB Navigate, and Asset Essentials, affected by the Amazon Web Services outage. The issue started around 10 a.m. EDT and is ongoing. It may be difficult or not possible to access these systems at this time. As soon as the issue is resolved, we will let you know.
Faculty who must consult Canvas and/or use Navigate to complete midterm progress reports should wait until later today to see if these systems become available again.
Please note that students taking tests in Canvas have also been delayed and should be granted additional time for their testing windows.
The Testing and Assessment Centers are already aware of the Canvas issue; faculty can contact them if they need to make testing adjustments.
